Tonya is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina where she continues to live. Renewal to Passion is her debut inspirational/contemporary novella.  She knew she always wanted to become an author, someday.  She penned her first manuscript at the age of sixteen and has written ever since.

Tonya enjoys creating stories about life and its supporting cast centered on romantic elements, heroes and heroines that are complex and pay homage to her vivid imagination. A true and wholesome love story pulls at her heartstrings—as she is an avid, romantic at heart.

She is an enthusiast couch potato whenever it comes to The Hallmark Channel. She also enjoys watching Home and Garden, TV in which she loves to design creative spaces in her designer's hat, imagination, of course!

She enjoys spending quality time with her loving and supportive family and treasures the moments of bible study and family devotion with her husband, Mitchell, and sons Kendall and Cameron taking time out, of their busy schedules over the years, focusing on God’s blessings, guidance, unchanging grace, mercy and faithfulness in their lives.  These dedicated moments are coined as ‘Family Prayer.’ Love you dearly, my special family
